Karl was born and raised in Vancouver. He has been working in hair for 18 years, and specializes in dimensional blonde and balayage techniques. He has a dog named lola who bites.

Stylist (she/her/they)

Sara graduated from JCI in 2021 and lives for lived-in looks, balayage, beautiful blondes, and a good bob. As a natural introvert she loves her two cats, rom-coms, and reading. She’s lovely.

Tara Chow

Tara might live in the suburbs with her kid and husband, but she still maintains an eye for style, and can keep up with the best of them when it comes to fashion and hair trends. Once a student of Karl and Katie’s she now runs the show.

Kourtni MacKenzie

Junior Stylist (she/her/they)

Kourtni comes from a small northern community chasing big dreams and big hair. She loves sculpting shags, rockstar styles and transformations. As a collector of trinkets and lover of oddities she has an admiration for the unusual.

Katie Johnston

Founder & Stylist (she/her)

Katie has been doing hair since 2004 and is known for her signature blondes and lived in balayage. She has twin boys and a lovely British Husband.
